Summer Office Hours
From June 1 until Labor Day, church office hours will be 9:00 until 2:00 p.m. , and we will be closed on Fridays.
Bible Study
A reminder that Fr. Dage conducts Bible Study classes at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. each Thursday.

Your articles for the Sept-Oct-Nov. Epistle are due Sunday, August 3.
Tuesday, August 5 - Crafts Workshop
We have patterns now for bibs, walker caddies, place mats and other things to sew. We will be cutting out patterns to take home and finish. Please come and join us. Call Brenda Kuntz, 372-9546, or Doris Jenkins, 937-0039 for information.
Wednesday, August 6 – Transfiguration of our Lord
10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist.
Saturday, August 9 - “Angels Left Behind
You are invited to join us as widows and widowers get together for dinner the second Saturday of every month at 4:30 p.m. This month we will be going to Ruby Tuesday's , Ridge Road and Little Road, near Lowe's. Sign up on sheet in parish hall so reservations can be made.

Sunday, August 17 – Blessing of the Food Basket
The basket for food pantry items will be taken to the altar for blessing at the 11:00 service.
Wednesday, August 20 – Vestry Meeting
7:00 p.m. Vestry members, please pick up your copy of the previous month's minutes from the vestry mailbox unless you received them via e-mail. The treasurer's report will be in the mailbox by the Sunday prior to the meeting .

Thrift Shop
A ”Green Tag” Sale will be held at the Thrift Shop from August 25 through Friday August 29. All items with a green tag or sticker will be half price, plus many other specials will be available. Call Florence Holden, 992-4521, for information.
To ECW Officers and Committee Chairmen
Your articles for the new ECW Directory , which is distributed the first of September, should be placed in the ECW mailbox no later than August 1. Please read the current directory and if you want to change your article, please do so by August 1.
Looking Ahead to September
We will begin holding our Card Party/Salad Bar Luncheons on Monday, September 8. We can always use your help in the kitchen (call Vi Tokarz, 934-0979) This is a great way to meet other ladies in the parish; and if one of our ladies calls to ask you to donate a salad for the luncheon, we would greatly appreciate your generosity. A portion of the proceeds from the card party goes immediately to the church. If you or any of your friends would like to book a table for cards, please call Earla Ferguson, 376-5918.
