The St. Stephen's Thrift Shop has enjoyed excellent sales for the past 3 months. Our Half Price Sale was a success and another one began November 7 lasting 2 weeks. We have lots of stock and this is a good way to narrow it down.
We will be participating in the December 10 Bazaar by having some of our collectibles there for sale and Christmas items as well.
Please stop by and look at our clothing and housewares plus our book area. Prices are good and we have a large variety.
When clearing out your closets and cupboards please remember the Thrift Shop with your donations. We cannot take furniture since our space is limited. We can always use working appliances—we aren't mechanically minded or have electrician skills to fix things!
We still donate clothing to Holy Ground and sent many items up there following the Katrina hurricane. Holy Ground went to Louisiana and brought back victims of the storm. We also donate toiletry and other items to the Abuse Center located in New Port Richey.
I wish to thank the volunteers who work at the Thrift Shop for the time they spend there waiting on customers and keeping the Shop looking neat and clean. The ones who mark the merchandise for sale do a wonderful job. Many times we have to wash clothing and housewares to make them presentable to our customers.
